Are your products: 1. fair-trade? 2. sustainably sourced? 3. cruelty-free? I also need to know if products from your company contain ANY derivative of palm (the plant/tree). I have viewed several items from beautyproductsfromv.com I would like to try, but as you see, my "criteria" is often an issue. 1 & 2 Volcanic Earth has its own version of fair trade and is helping the Ni Vanuatu people of Vanuatu. (disadvantaged women and children benefit) The production of Vanuatu Tamanu Oil in Vanuatu helps improve the livelihoods and standard of living of poor villages in the outer islands of Vanuatu. The harvesting and collection of Tamanu Nuts (which fall naturally to the ground) involves thousands of indigenous Ni Vanuatu from many different villages and much needed income. There is little paid work on the outer islands and these local people would otherwise be very strapped for cash to pay for school fees, medical care and other basic necessities.
We would be foolish to produce products from raw materials that weren’t sustainably sourced, as we would run out of raw materials. In any case, our base ingredients are primarily virgin coconut oil which is sourced from an abundant supply of coconuts in Vanutau. In fact, there are so many coconuts that many of them rot away on the ground. By our making use of this natural resource we actually reduce environmental waste and also provide livelihood and employment opportunities for disadvantaged Ni Vanuatu.
3.None of our products are tested on animals.
Our products do not contain Palm Oil, we use Vanuatu Ngali Nut Oil in our products. The Ngali Nut is gathered after it ripens and falls naturally to the ground.

A No, all our products are natural organic and do not contain artificial flavouring, colouring or chemical preservatives. Q What if I am allergic to nuts? A We are not aware of any documented reports of adverse effects due to the application of Tamanu Oil. Just the same, care may need to be taken if you are allergic to nuts. In this case, apply the Tamanu oil to a small area first to check for any adverse reaction. Ngali Oil is made from the Ngali nut, if you are allergic to nuts, we recommend that you test the product on a small area of your skin first. Although our products are exotic and luxurious, they are primarily designed to address many common and widespread skin conditions.
